  • The Shakedown Band features a professional line-up of highly experienced musicians comprising vocals, guitar, bass guitar/vocals, keyboards and drums.

 

  • The band are based in Newcastle upon Tyne and have performed extensively across the North East, including  Northumberland, County Durham, Tyne and Wear and Yorkshire

  • We have played at many of the top venues in the region, including Jesmond Dene House, The Sage, St James's Park, Wynyard Hall, Close House, Linden Hall, Doxford Hall, Seaham Hall, the Assembly Rooms and Beamish Hall.

  • The Shakedown Band know that it's all about the great music and  the band play fantastic songs from past to present.

  • We simply offer great musical entertainment for any occasion, including weddings, birthdays, engagements, anniversaries, corporate events, balls and parties, at a very competitive price.
 
  • The band only use high quality equipment and provide a state-of-the-art PA and lighting system so you don't need to worry about hiring any additional equipment. You are more than welcome to play Ipods/CDs through our PA when the band is not performing to ensure that music will be playing throughout your wedding, party or event.

  • The band would be delighted to perform a first dance song of your choice for your wedding or other function. 
  • We would also be very happy to tailor our sets to suit your timing requirements. All our equipment is PAT tested for safety and we have public liability insurance.
